The Current Rig: Toyota Land Cruiser
This isn’t just a car; it’s a member of the family. We chose the classic Land Cruiser for its legendary reliability and timeless soul. Unlike dedicated expedition trucks that sit in a garage waiting for a holiday, our Toyota works hard every day. It balances the morning commute and grocery runs with our weekend escapes into the wild.
The Legend: Suzuki Grand Vitara II
Long before the Land Cruiser, there was the Suzuki. In fact, the Grand Vitara II was our first ticket to the world of off-road travel. Although compact, it was surprisingly capable and budget-friendly; consequently, it proved that you don’t need a massive truck to explore the world. Ultimately, it took us through the Balkans, taught us mechanics, and forgave many beginner mistakes.
